Ths is a terrific science fiction book. It is full of unexpected action and imaginative plots. Although it is a bit violent and gory at times, girls as well as guys will enjoy reading this futuristic novel. The Hunger Games is book 1 of 3. March 23rd, 2012 the movie will be released...I can't wait to see it!

I read the teen version of this series when I was in middle school. Now that I am in high school I am reliving the story and yet experiencing it for the first time too. This book series is written for adults. It is really cool how the two series follow the same plot - one from the point of view of the young and the other from the point of view of the adults. When you read both series you get the whole story.
